Catching Awe

As pink snow

floats with Spring breezes

muddy footprints in earth

cup the petals in prayer

As redtail hawks

soar updrafts in pairs

the long sun catches

their mating song in praise

As the wind shakes

and sways the cedar grove

the alders’ lean with new green

dancing the edges in hope

As the Spring wind

whips through my hair

my attention takes flight~~~

joining the ephemeral beauty

of this season,

joining this moment in reverence—

Catching awe in the winds of Spring!

May we catch awe, today & everyday, with the practice of placing our attention🌀
