The Search for Meaning
Fragments of knowledge
From my own future
Flashes of understanding
from another’s past
Fractures of grief,
distorting the spectrums of Joy
A shattering—
an undoing of Life as planned
Exquisitely sharing
fractal shapes of beauty
Impossibly revealing
alternate dimensions of the heart
Spiritual gifts never wished for
Yet there is belonging now within the longing
Infinite possibilities within the search for meaning
I will look for you there,
Dwelling in the house of glass
I will leave my light on in the rooms I inhabit for you to find
And although the rooms will have changed after I’m gone,
You will recognize how my light on your skin tastes of wonder,
shines of wander,
smells of hope,
Sounds of peace inside your heart
Making music to be remembered from an instrument tuned by the future
Making love to be held by the rewritten bedtime story of the past
Reflecting upon the infinite now,
Meaning always living here in divine creativity—
On each surrendered exhale,
On each inspired step
On each unique expression of Source—
The Sacred diversity of Aliveness
