Empty Boxes
With handmade paper
In patterns folded carefully
into nested boxes
Just to hold
To hold the gift of no-thing
To hold the air of a deep breath
To create the space to quiet the cluttered mind of worry
To accept the squeeze of a long hug, then the release
To become a body of empty radiance
May I open this empty box with excitement&gratitude as a daily ritual
as a reminder of the most meaningful gift—
The one always everywhere in the nowhere🌀
The Love swirling unseen
The Spirit of joy no matter the circumstances
The awareness that all that I am is already more than enough
The Truth that my love is freely given pouring, seeping into all hearts that need my love
That Life’s present is ever my presence before God, before the sea,
Before you,
Listening, quietly underneath all the trees
If I could give everyone just one gift to unwrap—
to feel in the body you are already more than enough, already deeply loved just as you are
